A card game about some great dogs who all just want to be friends and bury bones in the yard together!

Latest Updates from Our Project:

Pups are close: But close enough to boop?
about 3 years ago – Fri, Mar 19, 2021 at 04:35:25 AM

Update: pups are NOT yet close enough to boop, although they are in distant visual range. Things are about 10 days behind the schedule we were given, due to Customs and Oceans and Whatnot. Looks like we'll be shipping the second week of April right now, so if you've got address changes, get em in!

We look forward to pups on your tables! They're very cute :)

Pups at Sail!
about 3 years ago – Tue, Feb 16, 2021 at 05:42:55 PM

Our intrepid army of replacement puppers games has made it to the ocean, this time with a better boat underneath them! Here's the schedule as I have it from the shipping partner:

At port: Feb 4

Loaded in container: Feb 11

Container put on ship: Feb 12

Ship leaves port: Feb 13

Boat arrives at US port: March 13

Customs Clearance: March 18

Pups on a Train: March 19

Pups at Warehouse: March 22

This isn't a particularly complicated shipping effort (put game in mailer, put into mail!), so we should be able to process all the shipments the week following their arrival at the warehouse. So my official estimate is that games should be hitting your mailboxes the first week of April. Prepare for a Spring of PUPPERS!

Boat Schedule!
over 3 years ago – Wed, Jan 06, 2021 at 09:21:47 PM

A quick update to share info from our printing partners - we're on schedule to have the reprinted games on a boat at the end of January (2 weeks before the Lunar New Year), due to arrive at our warehouses at the end of February / beginning of March.

Once I get a specific boat assignment + details we should know more precisely our shipping date plans. Happy New Year everyone!

Two Days, Two Pupdates! Timing Schedule
over 3 years ago – Sat, Dec 05, 2020 at 12:24:50 AM

Today's update is short, but as there's more information, I wanted to share it!

The factory is immediately starting (today) on a new print run of 2000 copies of Puppers, enough to cover all KS backers and a few distribution orders. These will be on their way to us ASAP, likely arriving mid February.

In the meantime, the damaged ship will return to port in Japan, assess which containers are OK, and based on that, those copies will either ship to us, or the factory will print more copies to send to us later.

In other news, we've started getting canvas prints made today - if you ordered one, it should arrive in the 2nd-3rd week of December.

<3 to all of our backers, thanks for understanding the situation and we hope to have pups on your table to play soon!!

2020's last potshot! Nonsense for all!
over 3 years ago – Fri, Dec 04, 2020 at 10:22:14 PM

So I've been on the phone a bunch this afternoon, because of this:

1,900 Containers potentially lost from the ONE Apus

Usually, goods get loaded onto a ship at a port, and then that ship crosses the ocean, unloading those goods at a different port. This is a long-standing tradition, and has worked well throughout human history. 2020, innovative year that it is, decided "What if we try unloading the goods *in the middle of the trip*?"

This was not a good plan.

As you can see from this image from Tuesday, there is nobody here to receive the unloaded goods (barring mermaids or Atlanteans), thus causing a Problem. Now, many of the goods are in the ocean. Some of the goods are not in the ocean, but damaged or wet. None of these things are *good* for goods.

The ship, weather-battered (severe storm/gale-force winds is the actual cause of the above mess) and generally displeased with 2020's Bad Plan, is turning around to hit the closest major port (Japan) to assess damage. With 15-25% of its goods changed to bads, we might be lucky or we might not be, but we won't know for a couple weeks at best. In the meantime, our factory is going to try and rush out a fresh print run of the game shipped to us as soon as possible. I shall, of course, share more details as I know them!

So uh...that's how my day has gone :D  How about everyone else?
